How to Shop at HARRIS & JONES
We have tried to make it as simple as we can for you to find exactly what you want quickly. You can see all our products either by colour or product type and then add any items that you wish to purchase into your shopping basket. When you are ready, click on the checkout button and you will be asked for a few details which we need to complete your order.
If at any stage you have a question please feel free to contact us.
We will accept most credit cards and debit cards and these payments are completed through Paypal, the secure online payment system. You do not need a Paypal account to make a purchase. We also accept cheques as payment however cheques need to be cleared at our bank prior to goods being dispatched.
How long it takes to make an order.
All our products are handmade to order and this normally takes between 1 to 2 weeks depending on order size. Once made your order is handed to our couries for delivery and this usually takes between 3 to 4 days. If your order is more urgent please contact us and we will try to meet your required delivery date.
Delivery charges -Range £2.95 to £19.95
We use Myhermes and the Post Office for the majority of our deliveries and the charge to our customers, including packaging, is determined by the total weight of the order. All charges are shown in the shopping cart prior to your payment being made.
Delivery charges quoted are for delivery to mainland UK addresses only. For delivery charges to other countries including Eire and Channel islands please contact us and we shall advise you of charges accordingly.
We care about the environment we live in and try our very hardest to re-cycle as much as we can. This means that you may receive your goods in packaging that we have ourselves recycled. This may also mean that some such materials are not as green as we may wish them to be. However, we feel that it is best to use what has already been received by us rather than disposing of it and using new packaging. We hope that you don't mind!
We care about all the products we make at our workshop and the level of service we offer customers. We also hope that you will be happy with your Harris & Jones products when they arrive. As everything is bespoke (individually made to your order details) we cannot take products back. If however we have misinterpreted your order and made a mistake or your order has been damaged whilst being delivered to you we will be happy to replace all products concerned. Please contact us with specific details should you have any products that have been made incorrectly by us or have been damaged whilst on there way to you.
We offer two payment gateways to customers, Worldpay & Paypal. Worldpay will accept both debit and credit card payments, Paypal will accept credit card, debit card payments as well as Paypal account payments. Both of these payment gateways are secure payment services and all transactional information passed between Harris & Jones & Worldpay or Paypal is encrypted and secure. Additionally we do not hold any personal or payment information on our systems or at our premises.
Any information you give us to enable us to fulfil your order is totally secure. We do not sell or rent any information to third parties for marketing or any other purposes. You can feel confident that we will not disclose your details to anyone unless required to do so by law. We will always remove addresses from our address list when requested to do so.
